本研究の目的は、学習者の感性の涵養とコミュニケーション能力の育成を図るための俳句指導のあり方を国際的視野のもとに、理論的・実証的に探究するところにある。本年度はその研究の３年目にあたる。ただし長期にわたる新型コロナウイルス拡大の影響により、当初計画していた海外渡航による実証的な俳句指導の開発は困難な状況となっている。今年度は、そうした現状を背景に理論的側面から国際的俳句指導の研究の充実を図った。具体的には以下の二つのことに取り組んだ。
1．「創作」領域の研究動向と俳句指導研究の現状の整理
昨年度は、この10年における「創作」およびその指導に関する研究動向を詳細に検討した。今年度は、その結果を（1）俳句指導に関する研究、(2）短歌（連歌・連句）指導に関する研究、（3）詩（連詩）指導に関する研究、(4）物語指導に関する研究、（5）その他の文種の指導に関する研究の五点から整理し、『国語科教育学研究の成果と展望Ⅲ』の「「創作」指導に関する研究の成果と展望」にまとめ公表した。「創作」領域の指導研究はグローバルな視野を取り入れながら多角的かつ精力的に展開されており、この10年は「創作」指導の研究史において大きな飛躍をとげた時期であったこと、その中で、俳句の分野は、言語や文化の異なる学習者同士の交流（創作と鑑賞）に踏み込んだ国際的な共同研究が進められていること、海外においても従来とは異なった俳句の教材価値を探る研究が行われていることなどを明らかにした。
2．国際的俳句指導の理論の構築
昨年度は、俳句に親しむための国際的俳句指導の内容を検討した。今年度は、我が国で行われている俳句に関する指導法が、国際的な俳句指導法としてどこまで転用できるかのか、その可能性を具体的に探った。 -

本研究課題では、2019年度（初年度）において読書行為の多様性を探索するための基礎的な調査を実施した。この調査結果の分析と考察をふまえながら、2020年度には大規模実態調査に基づいた読解戦略診断基準を導出する予定であった。 しかしながら、新型コロナウィルス感染症対策のため計画していた調査を行なうことができなかった。そのため理論的検討を中心に、「グラウンデッド・セオリー・アプローチ」を取り入れながら、得られたデータを質的に分析する手法を改めて検討し、規模の大きい調査によらず分析を進める方途について考察した。こうした研究の過程を経て、本年度においては、読解戦略診断基準の導出を目指して以下のように研究を進めた。
本年度においては、大規模な調査ではないが、具体的な物語文を扱った調査によって得られたデータを用いて、学習者等の反応を質的に分析し、読解指導において考慮すべき読者タイプを診断するための徴標を仮説として導出した。なおデータの分析においては、質的研究に関わるこれまでの研究成果を活かしながら、多面的な観点等を設けるようにした。ただし、分析を進めながら研究方法（質的研究の方法）の妥当性の再検討も並行して行なったため、仮説の確定にまでは至っていない。
次年度は、読解戦略診断基準に基づいたマルチレベル支援アプローチの開発に臨む予定である。この開発を意識して、質的研究の方法をふまえて仮説を確定することが今後の重要な課題である。 -

In this study, we conducted a haiku project in collaboration with an elementary school in Canada to explore the value of haiku as a teaching material and how it should be taught in the classroom in North America. This project was developed over a long period of time, incorporating the following three elements: (1) a haiku workshop for teachers and a series of haiku lessons for students; (2) exploratory haiku lessons developed and conducted by teachers; and (3) a haiku meeting for all the participants in which to discuss the value of haiku as a teaching tool and how to teach it. This study has shown that the haiku project can help North American teachers to deepen their understanding of the essence of haiku and the value of haiku education and to develop effective haiku lessons.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of haiku teaching methods the author created and the usefulness of haiku for international exchange between Japanese and Canadian elementary schools. The methods follow three steps, and the classes were conducted following each step in each country separately. The three steps are as follows. (1) Making Haiku (2) Sharing Haiku (3) Comparing the results of haiku sharing circles
What was said and written during the classes in each country were analyzed by the author, and it showed that children not only deepened their understanding of haiku, they also discovered something new about each other's different lifestyles and culture. In addition, almost all of the participants in both countries mentioned that they enjoyed the entire process. The classes using this haiku teaching methods were effective at creating deeper and more meaningful international exchange. -

Through the elucidation of the development of language communication skills, for cooperation with subjects other than the uniqueness and language arts for each of the various areas of language education, and elaboration so that it can be a real draft proposals. In the literature area, we aim to clarify the low-down of reading that is versatile with Vygotsky space, and found the characteristics of the language arts own area. In the explanatory text area, scientific reading material (language teaching materials) and the scientific report prepared two types of sentence (Nature report sentence of science), about the similarities and differences, of the faculty questionnaire, of junior high school students read the the difference, investigate the awareness of when you read, do the experiment lesson, it was possible to obtain a constant of the proposed findings. In the region that listening, speaking, was conducted a survey on awareness of the productivity of the discussion by the group.

This purpose of this study is to explore an effective method of teaching haiku to nurture aesthetic sensitivity and communication competence for elementary school children through international haiku exchange. First, I surveyed how haiku is taught in North America by reading haiku books, such as teachers' guidebooks on writing haiku. The result showed that structure-based (not content-based) instruction is dominant while communication-based instruction, such as Kukai in Japan, is rare in North America. Second, I conducted a communication-based haiku workshop for elementary school teachers in Canada to enhance their deeper understanding of haiku instruction. This haiku workshop proved useful and effective, and I obtained implications for effective method of teaching haiku for international haiku exchange.

We divided the research organization into five groups, and worked. The cooperation group between a kindergarten and an elementary school investigated the actual condition of conversation capability by observing kindergarteners. The talking group investigated the developmental stage that elementary school children's talks changed to inquiry. The reading group investigated the developmental stage that junior high school students' talks changed to social practice. The writing group analyzed the function of the talks in the activity to write. The media communication group clarified the actual condition of the communication which uses media by observation of lessons, and development of the lesson.

We built the communication model that communications skills are the ability for it not to be limited to individual capability but to explain in a relation. We conducted development investigation of the talks capability of the schoolchild by the same subject taking notice of the quality of deployment of talks activities. It became clear that it is effective to discuss dianoetic to a subject with the public responsibility which becomes the cause to turn one's eyes to society as a result of research.

This purpose of this paper is to investigate an effective method of teaching haiku to elementary school children in North America. In 2005, we pointed out that the method of teaching haiku by introducing the technique of juxtaposition and the use of kukai (traditional haiku sharing circle) was effective for Japanese elementary school children. In 2008, we tried this haiku teaching method with Canadian elementary school children in Toronto. In this exercise, students wrote good haiku and showed an excellent appreciation of other students' haiku. Further, the data from the class participants showed that they saw it as easy and fun to make haiku and share them with their classmates. This experimental practice shows that the teaching method of juxtaposition and kukai is effective in haiku lessons in North America.

1.The observation of the training of writing skills and the classes for the development of teaching skills of writing
The classes concerned were researched according to the syllabuses on the web sights of each college.
The results are followings :
There are few classes only aimed the training of writing skills
The classes for teaching skills of writing are done as a part of the study on the teaching of elementary Japanese native language.
Some classes for the training of evaluation skills for reading compositions of children are given.
2.The experimental classes in college course for the teaching of writing skills which innovates the viewpoint of mutual evaluation, and the considerations to those classes
Focused on logical composition, the foundation for suggestion as trial classes of experiment in the first year and practical classes of experiment in the second year has raid.
When the mutual evaluation is made, with the concrete, multi-angle and partial standard of evaluation, it is easy to make the reciprocal stimulation and inspire and a good term between the sender and the receiver.
Moreover it is also remarkable that the standard of evaluation is getting in common and trying to be generalized.
3.A consideration to the development of writing skills of children
In the classes for the postgraduate teachers the fact that Japanese teachers have less instruction and evaluation in writing skills of children than in contents of their composition is found. On the other hand, chidren's skills are grasped through teacher's experiences fractionally. Also it is realized that there are possibilities of building-up new views of development of writing skills by re-collecting and re-arranging their practical knowledge and ideas. -
A theoretical and empirical investigation of writing instruction with the aim of facilitating text generation processes

The objectives of the present study are to develop writing instruction theoretically motivated by research into text generation processes and to empirically examine the effects of such instruction.
This research has adopted the following procedures : (1)reviewing cognitive psychology research into text generation processes and surveying how writing instruction is currently conducted in the US ; (2)examining the materials for writing instruction included in the present Japanese primary school textbooks from the viewpoint of facilitating text generation processes ; and (3)investigating the effectiveness of new writing pedagogy for primary school students in which to raise their awareness of the "reader."
Based on a review of relevant cognitive psychology research and anexamination of Japanese textbooks for primary students, new writing pedagogy was developed and implemented, and its effects empirically examined. In this writing instruction, learners were encouraged to raise their awareness of the "reader。" The results has shown that (1)the writing instruction actually had its intended effects, especially for students with lower writing abilities ; (2)by reading what other students wrote and providing feedback, primary school students gradually improved their metacognitive awareness of the writing processes ; and (3)with the advancement of grades, students gradually showed different evaluation performance, and the fourth grade marked the point of qualitative change. -
作文教育改善のための生成論的作文指導の研究

作文教育を改善していくためには、文章生成過程の心的様相を発達的に捉える基礎研究が必要である。本研究は、この問題意識に基づき、題のつけ方に関する心的様相を発達的に捉え、そこから作文指導のあり方を探っていくことを目的としている。そのために、愛媛大学教育学部附属小学校、3年、4年、5年、6年、同学部附属中学校1年、2年の各1クラスを対象に、ある作文(小学校5年生の生活文=題「小さな私見つけた」、調査対象者には学年・氏名・題名を伏せて提示)を読みそれに題をつけるという活動を行わせる教授調査を実施した。資料を分析した結果、1.題名は、話題に関するもの(例:小さなくつ下など)から、主題に関するもの(例:小さな私、私の成長など)に変わっていく傾向があること、2.題をつけるときには、文章を統一するものを探ろうとする心的作用が働くこと(ただし小学校3年生はそれが十分でないこと)、それを探る観点は、学年があがるにしたがって豊かになっていくこと、3.小学校の高学年になると、題名の読み手に与える効果も考えるようになること、また個性的な題をつけようとする意識が働くようになること、3.題のつけ方に関与する主題把握の有り様は、小学校の高学年に変換点が見られることが確認された。さらに、4.題名に関する作文指導は、何が文章を統一しているのかを考えることになるため、明確な文章を産出する力の育成に重要な役割を果たすことが確認された。

作文教育改善のための生成論的作文指導の研究

作文教育を改善していくためには、文章表現力を獲得する心的作用の発達を捉える研究を行う必要がある。本研究は、その研究の一環として、「他者の作文のよいところを発見する力」の発達の様相を捉えることを目的としている。そのために、愛媛大学教育学部附属小学校 1年、2年、3年、4年、5年、6年(各1クラス)を対象に、ある作文(生活文=教科書教材「わたしの大事な弟」作者:3年生)を読みその作文のよいところを発見するという活動(鑑賞活動)を行わせる教授調査を実施した。
分析の結果、1.作文のよいところとして、1年生は内容面をあげるものが多く、2年生になると内容面だけでなく表現面をあげるものが多くなること、2.表現面の指摘が3年生になると具体的・かつ多様になること(例:たとえている、くらべている、思ったことを書いているなど)、3.表現面を捉えるときに、低・中学年は、主にミクロな表現(語句レベル、文レベル)に目をむけているが、高学年になるとマクロな表現(文章展開レベル)にも目をむけるようになること、4.中学年あたりから、表現効果を考えながら表現を捉えるようになり、高学年になるとそれが顕著になることなどが明らかになった。また、内容面・表現面の評価を行うときに「わたしも(は)・・・と思う」「わたしだったら(ふつうは)・・・と書く」という思考を働かせていることが実証的に捉えられた。さらに、鑑賞指導が、文章表現力の獲得に大きく寄与することが確認された。
