Profile
1995年日本福祉大学社会福祉学部卒業。2009年熊本大学社会文化科学研究科教授システム学専攻博士前期課程修了 修士（教授システム学）。2017年熊本大学社会文化科学研究科教授システム学専攻博士後期課程修了 博士（学術）。1995年より日本福祉大学職員。 2011年から愛媛大学にてFD・SDや学生能力開発、授業改善・授業コンサルテーションなどの支援に取り組む。授業改善やマネジメント等に関する研修会なども学内外を含め、依頼内容に応じて設計し、研修会運営および講師を行っている。主な研究課題は、インストラクショナル・デザインを活用した教育改革に関する研究。その中でも、高等教育機関における全学的なe-learning普及推進に関わる実践研究を進めている。また、Parrishの「学習経験の要因モデル」にある「学習者要因」に焦点をあて、学生の学ぶ姿勢を評価し改善することで、望ましい学習姿勢を身につけ、学習効果が向上することを目指し、学習経験自己評価表や教員が学習経験を高める「授業改善ヒント集」を開発し、授業改善を支援する研究を進めている。

主な著書には、ナカニシヤ出版の「大学におけるｅラーニング活用実践集―大学における学習支援への挑戦２」（共著）、「大学初年次における日本語教育の実践－大学における学習支援への挑戦３」（編著）、さくら社出版の「教育評価との付き合い方―これからの教師のために」（共著）など。

    <p>The purpose of this paper is to clarify the educational outcomes of an Advanced Placement Information Education Program (henceforth, APIEP) using e-learning on the attainment of basic ICT skills by 118 first-year Japanese high school students at Ehime University senior high school, an APIEP model school, in the academic year 2017. There were 118 first-year students who took part in this study. All 118 students were instructed to take the same placement test before the study began and achievement test after completion. The students were then categorized into upper, middle and lower levels according to the achievement test results. These test results were then compared using a paired <i>t</i>-test. It was concluded, from the placement test results, that the improvement of skills was statistically significant in each group. It was discovered that a remarkable improvement was confirmed in the middle and lower level student groups and that they gained the basic ICT skills nearly equivalent to second-year university level. Furthermore, through a thorough analysis of survey questionnaire data conducted at the end of the final lesson, this study indicates that students perceived the e-learning program in a positive light regardless of their level. This study illustrates that the APIEP approach is an effective e-learning method for Japanese high school students.</p>

    The purpose of this paper is to try to specify the basic ICT knowledge of ordinary Japanese high school students and discuss the relationships between their ICT knowledge and their usage of ICT devices. At the beginning of the academic year 2017, the authors of this paper introduced a program for the 10th grade students of Ehime University senior high school. They chose this school as a model school to introduce front-loaded ICT-driven education and e-learning of the Pioneer Advanced Placement (P-AP) Program. In the first lessons in 2017, they conducted a placement test followed by two surveys with questionnaires on the test and their usage of information devices. Finally, they concluded, from the test results, that the levels of the basic ICT knowledge of the high school students were one grade lower than those of the participant freshmen of colleges and universities in Japan. Furthermore, they clearly deducted, from the results of the second questionnaire survey on their usage of information devices, that how many hours and for what purpose they would use ICT devices were an important key to enhancing their basic ICT knowledge.

    <p>In the beginning of the school year 2015, an e-learning system was introduced by the authors into a class named "Japanese Literacy" in Ehime University Senior High School. This class was designed as an inclusive program of the subject "Career Planning"for second-grade students. It was set up in 2009 in order to reinforce collaborative connections between the upper secondary and tertiary education sectors. The purpose of this paper on educational practice research is to report that the students' awareness of improvement in their Japanese proficiency and a positive attitude toward further enhancement were verified to a certain degree after the introduction of the e-learning system.</p>

    日本福祉大学では,履修登録前に学習目標や授業内容の確認を容易にするオンデマンド化された科目ガイダンスビデオを開発し,2008度より本格的な利用を開始した.この導入により,全教員がe-learningコンテンツ制作に関わることになったためにe-learning製作に対する不安や負担感を減少させることができた一方,シラバスの見直し,学習目標をより明確化する等のFD活動も活発化させ,ICTを活用したブレンド型授業が増加するなどの全学的な教育改善に進展してきている.本論文では,科目ガイダンスビデオの開発,視聴実施に至るまでの組織的な取り組みと,科目ガイダンスビデオ開発の効果を検証するために行った開発に携わった教員へのアンケート調査の結果を報告する.多くの教員は科目ガイダンスビデオの開発をかなり好意的に受け入れており,その視聴実施は受講生に対して十分な効果が認められるという考えを持っていることが分かった.

    2021年度までの研究で、判定対象の文章内に含まれる話し言葉を、作成した話し言葉の分類カテゴリに沿って検出し、修正文例を提示する機能を搭載した話し言葉検出システム「話しことばチェッカー」を開発した。
    今年度からの研究では、反転と協調学習を組み合わせた授業モデルの構築と大規模な実践を図り、そこで得られる文脈の影響を受けるあいまいな話し言葉事例ベースに基づき、最適化された文脈理解可能な「AI話しことばチェッカー」を有する知的学習支援システムの実現を目指す。2022年度は主に、あいまいな表現（グレーゾーン）の抽出作業およびそれらを検出できるよう、システムのAI化に向けた検証を行った。あいまいな表現（グレーゾーン）とは、対象となる言葉が話し言葉であるか否かの文脈判断が必要な表現を指す。その例として、「てしまう」が挙げられる。この表現は、主語が「私」であれば主観的になりやすく、主語が第三者であれば客観性が保たれやすい。他には、「残念」「面倒」「つらい」「厳しい」など、個人の感情が介入しやすい表現や若者言葉や流行語として口語的に使われる表現などである。
    今年度は、「てしまう」を題材に、機械学習モデルを構築し、Amazonレビューや査読論文などから作成した4種類のデータセットを用いて評価を行った。まず、抽出した「てしまう」を含む主観的な文と客観的な文それぞれ250文ずつを、ファインチューニングしたデータセットに研究代表者の分類した「てしまう」データセットを推論させたところ、77％の精度を出すことができた。このことから、Amazonレビューと学会の査読論文の文章が、研究代表者の作成した「てしまう」データセットの分類と近い可能性が示唆された。

    学生の汎用的能力（主にリーダーシップとそれに関連する知識・スキル・態度）の養成を狙いとした研修プログラムを企画・運営するに際し、研修の効果性にプラスに働く構成要素とは如何なるものかを考察するという本研究全体の目的を念頭に、年度計画に沿って以下の研究活動を実施した。
    プログラム受講者への量的・質的調査の実施：本研究が調査・分析対象として設定している2つのプログラム（UNGL学生リーダーズ・サマースクール：2021年9月、UNGLリーダーシップ・チャレンジinサイパン：2022年3月）の受講者・受講修了者（含卒業生）に対する量的・質的調査を実施した。
    先行研究のレビュー：調査と並行して、引き続き国内外のリーダーシップ開発に関わる論文・著書・統計データ等の収集とレビューを行った。主に実践事例に着目し、本研究が対象とする研修プログラムとの異動について検討・整理を試みた。
    調査結果の公開：研究の経過報告として、調査活動の中から得られたデータ等を取りまとめ、学会報告（「コロナ禍における国際交流型リーダーシップ・プログラムのオンライン実施とその成果」大学教育学会第43回大会；2021年6月5-6日）、及び論文投稿（「コロナ禍における国際交流型オンライン・プログラムの開発と実施、及びその成果：UNGL「リーダーシップ・チャレンジinサイパン」に関する事例報告」『大学教育実践ジャーナル』愛媛大学教育・学生支援機構，第21号，91-98頁）を行った。

    前年度は2型糖尿病患者を対象にスキーマの予備調査を行ないスキーマには4つのパターン（依存、倫理的非難、問題回避、無力感）があることを明らかにした。今年度は実施した予備調査の結果に基づいて、アセスメント項目の抽出を行った。抽出したアセスメント項目をもとにアセスメントシート原案を作成した。また、アセスメントシートの結果から、スキーマの４つのパターン（依存、倫理的非難、問題回避、無力感）のどれに該当するかを判別できるようにアルゴリズム原案も作成した。アセスメントシートの原案およびスキーマパターン別のアルゴリズム原案は共同研究者からスーパーバイズをしてもらい、適宜修正を行い、信頼性、妥当性の確保を行った。
    作成したアセスメントシートから、2型糖尿病患者のスキーマ別の自己管理促進プログラムの原案のたたき台を作成した。自己管理促進プログラムはIDの内的・外的動機づけやARCSモデル、ADDIEモデル「分析→設計→開発→実施→評価」のサイクルとする教育設計を取り入れる。また、用いる教材として、申請者が作成した「糖尿病とうまく付き合うためのQ＆A」のパンフレットを活用する。
    本年度は、アセスメントシート原案のトライアルの施行を予定していたが、新型コロナウィルス感染症拡大により県外への研究計画が実施できずに至った。アセスメントシート原案のトライアルの施行は令和３年度に行う予定である。さらにスキーマのアセスメント項目にそってインストラクショナルデザイン(＝ID,学習者の内的・外的動機づけを高める教育設計)を組み込んだ自己管理促進プログラムを開発を予定しているため、インストラクショナルデザインの専門家に相談中である。

    本研究の目的は、「学習者要因」に焦点をあてたこれまでの研究成果に、「環境要因」に焦点をあてた本研究の成果を統合・発展させ、学習経験の質を高めることを通じて主体的学習者を育成する「学習経験要因モデルによる主体的学習者育成プログラム」を開発することである。
    これまでの研究において、意欲向上につながる学習経験を実現する方策を試みている。
    今後の研究としては、環境要因（直接性・可塑性・切迫性・共鳴性・一貫性）や学習支援の具体的な内容を明らかにするとともに、支援方略を作成し、チェックリスト化（どのような内容をどのように教えることで、学習経験に影響を与え得るかを整理）したものも開発していく。
    つまり、本研究では、もう一つの要因である「環境要因」に焦点をあて、主体的学習者の育成に学習経験の質向上という観点を用い、教育実践での活用可能な具体的な方策を新たに創出していくことである。

  • 日本語文章作成支援ツールとしての話しことばチェッカーの開発と運用

    本研究では、コーパスや既出のレポートを基に学生がレポートで使用しがちな話し言葉の調査を行い、「文章中に現れる話し言葉」のデータベースを構築する。
    その上で、学生が自分の書いたレポート内の文章表現をWeb上でチェックできる、「話しことばチェッカー」のシステム開発を行う。
    2019年度は、これまで同様継続的に「話しことば調査」および「データベース構築」を行い、話しことば事例の集積を行った。
    「システム開発」については、１つ目のカテゴリー「対象語自体が話しことば」を検出するシステムを稼働させた。システムは、「形態素解析」「話しことばデータベース検索」「話しことば判定」「例文データベース検索」「検出結果表示」の５つのモジュールで構成している。
    後期には、実証実験として公立千歳科学技術大学の初年次学生216人にレポート課題を課し、提出後チェッカーでの判定をさせ、検出された話し言葉を修正したレポートを再提出させた。その結果、1回目の検出数が平均5.02個だったのが、修正後は平均0.83個にまで減少した。事後アンケートからも、本システムの有用性について8割以上の学生から肯定的な回答を得ることができた。本システムは、添削システムではなく、「本システムを用いて推敲することで、気づきが得られ、適切な学術表現を使用できるようになる」ことを目的としている。今回の実証実験から、気づきを得ることで学生達は自身の不適切な話しことばを再検討し、その使用数を減らすことができたと言える。なお、本実証実験の成果は、教育システム情報学会（JSiSE）2019年度第5回研究会にて発表した。

    質の高い学習経験は、その後の学習行動を促進するとされており、学習経験の質向上を支援することの教育的意義は大きい。初年次教育を受ける学生は、新たな学習経験を積み始める段階であり、学習に前向きに取り組もうと思える心の持ち方を学ぶ必要がある。
    本研究は、パリッシュの「学習経験の要因モデル」にある「学習者要因」に焦点をあて、その下位分類とおもな支援方略を明らかにし、学生が自己の学習者要因を評価するための「学習経験自己評価表」を開発する。自己評価表を用いて、学生自身が自己の学ぶ姿勢を評価し改善することで、望ましい学習姿勢を身につけ、学習効果が向上することを目指す。また、学習経験自己評価表をもとに、教員が学習経験を高める授業改善に使える「授業改善ヒント集」も作成し、授業改善を支援する研究を進めている。
