Tactical analysis in football has rarely been conducted using a mathematical model with numerical data (although tactical analysis through objective data has been used more often). Therefore, this study establishes principles for tactical analysis in team sports using numerical data, through a mathematical model based on the location of the players and the ball. A competitive match between Sanfrecce Hiroshima (home) and Ehime FC (away) in the third round of the Japanese Emperor’s Cup 2011 was filmed and used for the match analysis. Observations were made by a team analyst as well as extracted from official match records. The main procedure in the research flow was to establish a mathematical offence/defence model based on tactical concepts in football, which was applied for the location of players, which, in turn, was quantified from video images in order to categorise a team’s tactical performance (in relation to attacking or defending). Furthermore, the authors focused on attacking categories and identified different types of passes during a specific period, as well as comparing these findings with an actual match video. The results obtained from the numerical data derived from applying the offence/defence model led to the same overview as the tactical analysis produced by a team analyst. In addition, the results when categorising types of passes (as extracted through the mathematical model) again mirrored those retrieved from an actual match video. This leads to the conclusion that the offence/defence model could provide relevant insight into types of attacks. The data revealed that football tactical analysis can be successfully performed using a numerical model, which might possibly enable automatic tactical analysis of football games without a match analyst.</p>

<p> ボール運動においてミニ・ゲーム化（発達適合的再現）することは学習効果や競技力向上に有効な方法として用いられている。これは、ゲームの戦術的な複雑さをほとんど保持しつつも、技術的・身体的に未熟なために遭遇する問題を軽減するためである。そのため、ミニ・ゲーム化による技術的・身体的な問題の軽減について、その運動強度の影響を検討することは有用であろう。そこで本研究では、競技人数の違いが運動強度に与える影響を明らかにすることである。</p><p> 研究方法は、サッカーゲームで使用する正規コート（105×68ｍ）の3/4コート（91×59ｍ）、1/2コート（74×48ｍ）、1/4コート（52.5×34ｍ）の3つのコートで、11人vs11人と6人vs6人のサッカーゲームをそれぞれ10分間実施した。運動強度の測定には、生理的運動強度として心拍数（HR）と、物理的運動強度として移動距離と移動速度を測定した。</p><p> その結果、同じコートの広さであっても競技人数の違いによって運動強度は影響を受けることが明らかとなった。このことは、トレーニングを考案する体育スポーツの指導現場に有用な資料を提供できると考えられた。</p>

The purpose of the paper is to clarify how the internationalization program through sports influences the<br />
personality change of college students.<br />
In the research method, in order to examine the influence of personality change, a questionnaire sheet by<br />
the Ten Item Personality Inventory in Japanese（TIPI-J）was conducted before and after the program for<br />
the program participants.<br />
As a result, the personality changes of each program did not have the same tendency. However, regarding“<br />
neurosis tendency,” a relaxation tendency was observed with all programs.<br />
From the results of this study, we considered that we can contribute to personality change of university<br />
students by linking extracurricular activities through sports with internationalization as part of university<br />
education reform.

We aim to investigate the differences in physiological characterization between Yo-Yo intermittent recovery test level 1 (Yo-Yo IR1) and level 2 (Yo-Yo IR2) in Japanese college soccer players. Eighty-two Japanese college soccer players (elite, &lt;i&gt;n&lt;/i&gt;=40; non-elite, &lt;i&gt;n&lt;/i&gt;=42) participated in the study. All subjects took part in three tests Yo-Yo IR1, Yo-Yo IR2, and laboratory treadmill tests. The order of the three tests was randomized across subjects. The Yo-Yo IR1 test was not significantly different between elite (2369.0±319.2 m) and non-elite (2315.2±346.3 m) players. In contrast, the Yo-Yo IR2 test was significantly different between elite (1035.0±147.5 m) and non-elite (919.0±119.3 m) players. Anaerobic threshold (AT) was significantly correlated with both Yo-Yo IR1 and Yo-Yo IR2, although the correlation was stronger for Yo-Yo IR2. Our findings suggest that the Yo-Yo IR2 test will probably be a better tool than Yo-Yo IR1 in measuring endurance capacity in Japanese college soccer players.&lt;br&gt;

人「Ｓｃｈｏｏｌ Ｇｒｅｅｎ Ｊａｐａｎ」（松山市）が初めて開いた。
セミナーでは、県パラスポーツ・コーディネーターの幸田裕司さんが講演し「障害者に
とってスポーツは生活機能の向上やストレス発散、自己実現の一歩につながる」と説明。
ただ、関心はまだ低いため、裾野の拡大が欠かせないと指摘した。
愛媛大社会共創学部の山中亮准教授はスポーツボランティアの定義や楽しみ方を紹介。
「世代や経歴の異なる仲間ができるほか、自身の専門性や特技を生かせる。スポーツ以外
のボランティアにも活動を広げられる」と語った。
視覚障害のある選手を対象にしたブラインドサッカーの体験会もあった。

Introduction

The theme of this year is “Social Practice and Higher Education System: Potential and Resilience”. We would like to invite all participants to revisit the relationship between the universities and local communities by social practices. Universities locate in different areas and shall embed in local society and face local challenges derived from global competition of higher education, the effects of neoliberalism on our economy, public policies, and civil society, etc. Moreover, we also face long-term social issues such as changing demography, ebb and flow of local-industries and civic groups, as well as unpredictable disasters. Universities and local communities are nearby and inseparable to face local challenges while playing different roles in responding to them. By university-community partnership research, we have chance to reorganize and redefine local assets and knowledge and provide them with new meanings or actions corresponding to the current need. Thus, this conference looks forward to discussions including universities as social practitioners; action research; local challenges and responses; teaching practice research; and the team-building and the know-how of cross-disciplinary or cross-community collaboration. We welcome papers based on empirical, theoretical, and critical works from interdisciplinary fields.

Higher education systems are, indeed, deeply rooted in local communities. This interdependence becomes apparent especially during the spread of pandemic. Confronted by the limited resources and time to react to unpredictable crisis, the collective wisdom and the resilience of problem-solving from the bottom-up becomes crucial and necessary. This provides an opportunity for universities and local communities to rethink and redefine their roles in building the resilience of local society and a sustainable life.

Building university-community partnership in responding social problems or unpredictable crisis is a global trend, within which Taiwan and Japan share some similarities. Among them, both governments play a crucial role in encouraging university-community partnership research and social praxis with a vision to cultivate local civil society with resilience to face long-term social problems. Becoming a key agency in local civil society, universities have to transform their original obligation (including academic research, human resource development, and social contributions) into forms that are open to the local communities to participate in and, simultaneously, they have to strengthen the collaborative mechanisms among different disciplines and diverse communities in order to find workable solutions. This is a process-oriented rather than goal-oriented project. Many practitioners learn by trial and error and these experiences are important for people who want to do similar things or have similar concerns. The academic community also needs to think how to translate local or practical knowledge into professional knowledge and how to translate professional knowledge into local understanding. Local contexts do matter but we also believe that there are some shared concerns in building local resilience and sustainable life, which is comparable and can learn from each other. Thus, we also welcome papers from comparative perspectives to provide cross-national or interdisciplinary viewpoints.
