十七世紀尾張藩を中心とした<文化としての武>に関する諸藩対照研究

愛媛県今治市河野美術館蔵の近世期に作成された平家物語下絵復元について、芸術大学の作画担当者と美学美術史の研究者と軍記物語の研究者の間で、時代、平家物語諸本の表現に即した色合いを検討し、復元をすすめた。
EAJS国際学会の研究発表に向けて小助川元太と龍澤彩との間で17世紀の大名家の合戦図屏風の特徴について議論し、その成果をまとめ、学会に提出した。その結果、2023年8月開催のEAJS国際学会での発表が決定したとの通知を得ることができた。
上記の学会発表のために、馬の博物館にうかがい、屏風と関連のある絵巻を調査すると共に撮影を行った。また、東京国立博物館やボストン美術館等の合戦図屏風や関連の絵巻の画像を入手した。
宇和島市立伊達博物館所蔵の合戦図屏風の調査についての許可をいただき、撮影を行った。こちらは、これまで報告がなされてこなかった狩野派と大名家の関わる合戦図屏風であり、合戦絵を狩野派がどのように手掛けたのかを探るうえでも重要な資料である。そのため、狩野派と大名家の狩野派の関わる合戦図屏風と関連のある絵巻の撮影を徳川美術館に依頼した。
以上のように、今年度は、「文化としての〈武〉」という観点から、中世の〈武〉と関わってきた物語や品物、認識等が、近世的な価値体系の中でどのように再編されていったのかを具体的に明らかにするための資料収集を主として行い、また、これまで、続けてきた平家物語下絵復元について、作画の段階まで到達することができた。その他に国際学会での発表に向けた準備をすすめることができた。 -

上記の学会発表のために、馬の博物館にうかがい、屏風と関連のある絵巻を調査すると共に撮影を行った。また、東京国立博物館やボストン美術館等の合戦図屏風や関連の絵巻の画像を入手した。
宇和島市立伊達博物館所蔵の合戦図屏風の調査についての許可をいただき、撮影を行った。こちらは、これまで報告がなされてこなかった狩野派と大名家の関わる合戦図屏風であり、合戦絵を狩野派がどのように手掛けたのかを探るうえでも重要な資料である。そのため、狩野派と大名家の狩野派の関わる合戦図屏風と関連のある絵巻の撮影を徳川美術館に依頼した。
以上のように、今年度は、「文化としての〈武〉」という観点から、中世の〈武〉と関わってきた物語や品物、認識等が、近世的な価値体系の中でどのように再編されていったのかを具体的に明らかにするための資料収集を主として行い、また、これまで、続けてきた平家物語下絵復元について、作画の段階まで到達することができた。その他に国際学会での発表に向けた準備をすすめることができた。 -

当該年度は、東大本『アイ嚢鈔』の翻刻作業を中心に行ったが、予定通り進んだとは言いがたく、基礎的作業を進めるに留まった。具体的には『アイ嚢鈔』巻1の途中まで、巻４の途中、巻６までである。また、本研究の対象作品の一つである『八幡愚童訓』との関わりが深い作品である『神道集』の巻１「神道由来之事」の注釈作業を進めた。さらに、同じく『八幡愚童訓』とも関わる『説経才学抄』の「出家」「善知識」「逆修善根」「追福」「無常」の項について注釈作業を行った。なお、「無常」については分量が多く、未完である。

今年度は、愛媛県今治市河野美術館において、近世期に作成された平家物語の屏風や軍記関係の書物の調査を行った。また、愛知県名古屋市の徳川美術館で来年度に開催するシンポジウム「中世から戦国の合戦図をめぐって」の打ち合わせを行った。その他、本科研費の研究テーマに必要な諸資料「関ケ原合戦絵巻」等を撮影し、データとした。また、伝承文学研究会平成３０年度大会於九州産業大学において、９月８日（土）に「シンポジウム八幡信仰と伝承文学―『八幡愚童訓』を中心にー」のパネラーとして、「八幡をめぐる物語の享受―１７世紀を中心にー」と題した発表を行った。また、年度末に、平成30年度-34年度科学研究費（基盤研究（Ｂ））「十七世紀尾張藩における<文化としての武>に関する諸藩対照研究」第１回研究集会として、Pier Carlo Tommasi氏の発表を中心に、下記のような大名家に残る武に関わる文物についての意見交換を行った。本研究集会において、分担者の基礎研究としての調査が海外、国内において着実になされていることが報告された。

科研研究を始動するために、2018年5月26日に科研研究集会を開催した（分担者二名欠席）。そこで、科研の目的（「近世において文庫を創設・形成した大名に関する総合的研究）を再確認し、代表者・分担者・協力者の今年度の調査対象と目標を発表してもらった。次に、データの採集方法の統一基準を議論の末確定した。最後に、データをアップするクラウド（グーグルドライブ）の管理方法をパソコンに詳しいアルバイトを用いて説明し、全員の共通知とした。
それ以後、機会を作って、代表者・分担者・協力者はおのおのの分担地域の調査を行っている。現在、グーグルドライブ上には五つの大名文庫データ（書物の写真＝表紙・奥書など、と調査書目）が上がっている。全員の共通財産である。だが、全調査が終わっているわけではないので、まだほんの一部であることを付け加えておきたい。
ここで、代表者・分担者の研究進展においては、ばらつきがあることを申し上げねばならない。なぜなら、代表者・分担者計11名がともに同じ調査が展開しているわけではないからである。
ちなみに、代表者は、分担者二名・研究協力者とともに、昨年の8月15～17日、3月14～16日、肥前島原松平文庫の文献調査を行い、計140点あまりの書物調査および写真撮影を終え、それぞれクラウド上にアップをしている。他の分担者においては、四国の宇和島伊達家、越後高田の榊原家、宮城の伊達家などなどの大名文庫調査が行われている。
当初の目的では、各文庫の書物データが順次アップされ、相互比較されて、大名文庫の実態が明らかにされる予定であったが、一年目でもあり、ようやく始動といった段階である。 -

I researched about the issue that encyclopedic "knowledge" affected the politics and culture of the Sengoku Period Japan. Especially, I proved that encyclopedic literature works had had a great influence on the samurai family society. The result of the study is following these three points.
1. I performed the text analysis of "AINOUSHO" which written in Muromachi era. And then, I showed a new viewpoint about the issue how "TAIHEIKI" was read at that time. In addition, I pointed out that "AINOUSHO" might not be affected from "SANGOKUDENKI" unlike a common view. 2. I discovered the record that a samurai of the Edo era displayed "AZUMAKAGAMI" and "GUNSHO " in the room at the time of ceremony. And I discussed about the influence that a displayed book gave the place of the ceremony. 3. I found that influence of the Noh-play was seen on "GENPEI-KASSENZU Byobu " produced for the Sengoku period. -

I researched about the issue that encyclopedic "knowledge" supported the politics and culture of the later medieval Japan. Especially, I proved that encyclopedic literature works had had a great influence on the samurai family society. The result of the study is as follows. 1. I pointed out the possibility that "WAYAKUBON-TEIKAN-ZUSETSU" had not only been simply translated "TEIKAN-ZUSETSU" in the Japanese way but also had had influence of the study of the samurai family of the later medieval Japan. 2. I discovered that "GENPEI-JOSUI-KI" had been written as a practical educational book for the children of samurai family. 3. I clarified that influence relations of "HACHIMAN-GUDOKUN" and "AINOUSHO". 4. I discovered that the book as the decoration tool of the room which was used for ceremony of the samurai changed as the times changed. From that, I pointed out the education of samurai family in the Muromachi era had affected the formation of identity as the governing classes.

The early Edo period could be regarded, on one hand, as a modern period in terms of the political history, but, on the other hand, as a transition period from medieval to modern era from the cultural point of view. For instance, starting from the medieval to modern times, the various texts of the gunki monogatari; that originated in the medieval period were transformed into pictures, such as those decorating the folding screens of that time. Since the warriors original role was to take part in battles, their fierce attitude was successfully restored in the gunki monogatari and was regarded as the norm for the future samurai generations, while the scenes depicted on the folding screens became symbols of their identity.

The main purpose of my study is to elucidate a problem of the intellect that supported politics and culture in the late stage of the Middle Ages from a viewpoint called generation and the enjoyment of the encyclopedic text group.I pushed forward a study in " Jinkeisho " " Hikketsumonogatari " Teikan zusetsu " " Hachimangudokun in addition to a study mainly on "Ainosho" "Kososyu" "Genpeijosuiki ".Then I clarified that the question and answer form of those works having reflected a style of the study from before and after Onin War to the Azuchimomoyama era, thing that the highest study in the temple of the Zen sect affected, most of the encyclopedia-like work might be written for the child of the warrior class.

Over the course of the four years, we conducted thirty-six rounds of research on historical sources, manuscript texts, and visual materials, including those which are not in the public domain. The research, focusing on comparison and contrast of various sources, yielded valuable insights as many of those sources had previously been studied only individually. We disseminated these findings through workshops, symposiums, and lecture events; in addition, these analyses have been published both on the web and as printed booklets. We will reorganize the voluminous text of The GenpeiJosuiki in an easy-to-understand chronological style, and publish it by the end of the fiscal year 2014 [March 2015].

The initial object of this research program was to ascertain how the transcription of classical texts was affected by the environment (practical conditions) within which transcription actually took place. With this in mind, specific texts were selected and studied in regard to the condition of their transcription, their status as classical texts, bibliographical questions, and other factors correlating to the environment of their transcription.
In the course of this research, several new manuscripts unexpectedly came to light, many of them holographs and, in some cases, unique exemplars, all of very great scholarly significance. The above materials and research results were reported, within the framework of the aforementioned research program, in public conference presentations and publications. -

I studied the issue supported the politics and culture of medieval Japan" wisdom" and" knowledge", whether it has spread among the people in what way. More specifically, the target group as encyclopedic text has been produced in the Middle Ages, was carried out basic research. Accomplishments of the research is the following four points.
(1) Found that the articles are written in the" GOEN" to" KOSOSYU" I have been a number of quotes.
(2) I discovered that in," GETSUANSUISEIKI" knowledge of politics and art and culture are treated as having the same value.

This Study is intended to clarify the actual situation of the transformation of the culture in the last years of Warring States period.
It's based on a study of the source on Getsuan-suiseiki written by Issiki Naotomo who served Koga-kubou.
As a result of this study, we were able to clarify the transient figure of the culture from the Medieval Period to the early modern times concretely.
We wrote down the results of this study in the next books.
