Generation Z (born after the mid-1990s) is considered to be more motivated to contribute to society and more enthusiastic about solving social issues such as the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) than other generations before them. Many of these surveys are in the form of questions asking whether or not or which specific items are important. In this study, based on the results of a survey conducted on student at a regional university in the form of questions asking WTP (Willingness To Pay) of specific items of SDGs, we will examine Generation Z's willingness to contribute to society.

This study examines consumer behavior and priorities in online shopping through the distribution of a questionnaire-subjected to choice-based conjoint analysis-to 1341 Japanese Internet users. It finds that respondents placed a higher priority on the popularity of online shops than on other attributes. Surprisingly, respondents considered postage as a more important criterion than the selling price of goods. Our results show that respondents who made purchases at online shops were tolerant of the postage costs and selling prices of goods but expressed a stronger dislike for the former than did inexperienced respondents. In addition, respondents who had faced problems in online shopping estimated the popularity of online shops lower and tolerated higher selling prices more than the other respondents. These results contribute to the understanding of customers and suggest effective marketing strategies for online shopping. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2014.

Business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce has become one of the most important models for stores and enterprises. Many of them, however, face a difficult business environment because they lack an adequate understanding of the market. To develop the B2C market, this study seeks to identify young people's behavior and perceptions regarding online shops. This study finds that most youth use online shops for purchasing books, CDs, and clothes. They think that online shops offer the advantage of the ready availability of goods, but most want to confirm the goods' quality, which is not possible in online shopping. Youth may regard online shops as a complementary channel to physical shops. Through conjoint analysis, differences in the value of product availability could be attributed to gender. We also demonstrate that consumer behavior changes with online shops' manner of pricing display. These contributions will suggest effective marketing strategies for online shops.

There are many cases which entrust the operation and maintenance of public facilities to private sectors or organizations in recent years. The main purpose of the consignment is cost reduction. The sewage facilities are the representatives of such consignment. Although such consignment lowers expense in the short term by reduction of labor cost, there would be a risk of increasing expense of the public service from a long-term viewpoint. That is, this comprehensive private consignment has an agency problem. This paper points out the effectiveness of information sharing systems for improving asymmetry of information, and the necessity for standardization of information and widening the area. This paper proposed the one direction of the systems, that is, utilizing Web2.0 technologies.

It is well known that information commodities have network externalities (NE). Because of the externalities, the markets of information commodities tend to become the monopoly. But if NE consist of two factors, each effect stemming from the agent's neighborhoods and the market, there is a possibility that some products coexist m the competitive market. This paper suggests multi-agent models of NE that include the effect from neighborhoods and simulates some cases with them. The following results are obtained from the simulation. When NE from neighborhoods is strong, users of the commodity form uneven distributed groups and some products live together m the market. And about start-up diffusion strategies, the concentrate diffusion strategy is more effective than the diversified one in the case that gathering users have great influence.

Wireless LAN attracts attention as one of the solution of "the last one-mile problem". If we use wireless LAN as information network infrastructure, broadband environment may be comparably easily offered to us. We can consider there are three subject of the provider of internet access service, that is, "Public" such as a national government or a local government, "Commercial" such as a corporation, "Community" such as NPO. Especially in this study, it focuses on information network infrastructure in non-urban area, and it is tried to lead to the suggestion that how to construct the information network infrastructure in comparison with these three providers based on the cases of Okinawa or Kyoto.

Among "information network goods, " such as information commodities, there are many that require learning to facilitate their utilization. These goods possess unique characteristics in their diffusion process. This is because the essential qualities of information network goods, i.e., network externalities, and learning have an influence on the convenience of consumers. In this paper, a diffusion model for information network goods that require learning has been constructed and studied with a simulation. The study showed that special learning relaxes the tendency of the market becoming monopolized after being "lock-in." Furthermore, although firms have the option of selecting a compatibility strategy following their defeat in the market, it was learned that this strategy should be chosen at an early stage following a "lock-in" market condition.

Some research report that a lot of companies in Japan use Internet for their management and diffusion of information and communication technologies and devices may promote the companies' utilization. Concerning non-urban area, actual conditions of companies' utilization of Internet are not sufficiently known. This study examines both companies' and consumers' utilization of Internet in non-urban area based on the research in Matsuyama city. The research reveals only a few companies directly use Internet to increase their sales. Comparing with both utilization of Internet, this study suggests some implications for company management in non-urban area.

Developing of information technologies, many information commodities have been supplied to the market. The diffusion process of them possess unique characteristics in their diffusion process. So, when firms try to diffuse their own products, the need the unique diffusion strategies. The purpose of this paper is to show the diffusion characteristics of these commodities and to suggest the diffusion strategies. We categorize goods from the viewpoint of network externalities and learning. Then, for each category, the study examines the diffusion characteristics and suggests possible diffusion strategies.

Electronic money is being developed as a safe, simple, and convenient means of settling accounts on information network, and it is expected to become a common medium in the near future. In spite of its importance, however, there are no clear strategies in the policy for the widespread use of electronic money. The purpose of this paper is to suggest possible diffusion strategies for electronic money. The first is to categorize electronic money from the viewpoint of its exchange properties. Then, to classify electronic money competition into intra-category and between-category types, clarify their diffusion properties, and examine the development direction of electronic money. Finally, the study suggests investment strategies for electronic money diffusion.

Because of a rapid growth of the network industry, concepts of consumption externalities and network externalities have become the center of discussions in the field of management science. In this paper, on the basis of our model included in a firm's stance and its domain of product differentiation, we try to examine which the firm chooses the strategy of compatibility provoking network externalities, or the strategy of product differentiation provoking only its own consumption externalities. There could exist the situation that a firm promised to win in the long term would like to adopt the strategy of compatibility if the product life cycle is relatively short.

What influence the electronic money as payment tools do on the social and economic systems should be investigated from the viewpoint of the payment functions. Any payment tool cannot work well without establishing the social position of commonly acoepted medium of exchange (CAMOE). If a payment tool becomes CAM0E, it gets network externalities which, in turn, push it to the dominant position in the market. Then we try to find strategies of permeating electronic money into the cash-dominant-market by considering the payment functions, especially on transferability, multi-purpose, and finality

Among network services, there are the services that a few member groups interact each other like credit card service. Those services have mutual-dependent network externalities, which are different from network externalities known previously. In this paper, we have taken the case and studied the influence of the externalities for the competition of the service. We also have proposed a simple competition model between those services and tried to lead the characteristic of the competition.

It has been previously known that network externalities exist in network service. We think that there are several types of network externalities. In this study, we have classified the network externalities into three types on the basis of their method of influence. For "self-loop network externalities," one of the three types, we have proposed a competition model between the wire telephone and the portable mobile telephone as an applied model of actual services. We have also studied the penetration strategy of charge with the model.

Spread of interactive information communication service has a specific characteristic called network externalities. Because of these network externalities, competition between two networks creates peculiar characteristics that do not exist in other goods. In this paper, we have proposed a network penetration model with due consideration for network externalities, developed it as a competition model, and analyzed it. As a result, we have shown that stable equilibria and a critical mass exist, and have clarified their characteristics.

On the decision to hold a credit-card,we consider its availability at shops.Contrary, for shops, whether or not to implement card readers depends upon how much the cards prevail. To study the network externalities of this type,we can′t use the form er feedback model that the number of subscribers influences itself, acquired from the electric communication network.″Mutual-dependent Network Externalities″,we define it for the condition that plural groups of subscribers influence one another. The model we made on this paper is useful to get the nature of the penetration under such circumstances. And we investigate the condition of the stability of equilibrium penetration ratio, the restriction on price policies, and so on.

B to C, one of the representatives of ITeS, is considered as the means to revitalize rural economy. B to C provides great potential of business for rural stores. At the same time, it has the limit in the view point of differentiation of stores and transportation cost of goods. This study suggests four features about B to C in order to revitalize rural economy. That is, branding, collaboration of rural stores, means for advertising medium, and possibility of strengthening buying power. Then we enhance branding to regional brand in B to C market, and suggest "virtual regional brand". The local online mall can help the brand as the brand manager or the umbrella brand. And we research consumer behavior of online shops. Although many students utilize online shop web site, they have the inertia for real store in purchasing. They find out different conveniences and inconveniences to online shops for each goods. Students in different region have different reason for utilizing online shops.
